COMPOSITION:
COMPOSITION AND THEATRICAL SHOWS...
Dave re-staged his sophomore original pop musical, "Alienated," in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale in March of 2006. In addition to composing the book and music, he also co-directed the show, which had 24 players and 24 musical numbers. Originally performed at the University of Miami in 1991, this fantastical musical was updated with new music and storyline, and was a benefit for 'Kids In Distress'. David Mann computer sequenced the entire musical score, which was used for the live production. A promotional video of the stage show and a 2006 cast album is available for prospective producers wishing to re-stage the production. Dave won an award for one of his original songs in the Music City Song Festival (1991). He also arranged and computer-sequenced the scores to "Vincent" (1991), and a musical review of "Mame," "Hair," and “Side By Side" (1993), and was musical director and accompanist for Miami American Sr. High School's production of “The Runaways" (1996). He wrote and produced the queue music for “Terror On Church Street," a horror show in Church Street Station, Orlando, FL (1997). David recorded his third album of Broadway and jazz favorites, “Cocktails With Dave” (2006). He recorded the live album, "I Got You, Dave!,” a Live Rock ‘n’ Roll Sing-Along Piano Bar CD (1999). Recorded live in the piano bar with Dave, his piano and a bunch of Dave fans!
